Louis has lived in Fort Worth for the past 25 years a nd has been actively involved in neighborhoods and east Fort Worth commercial activities for the past 16 years, to include planning, development and code compliance. He is often asking for accountability from government officials and city staff.
He is past president of the East Fort Worth Business Association and has served as a board member of Historic Handley Development Corporation, West Meadowbrook Neighborhood Association and has been the president of his own homeonwers association for the past 2 1/2 years.
He is an independent business owner in east Fort Worth assisting small municipal emergency medical services in meeting budget needs and accoun ts receivable management. Previous to ownership in AmeriMed Enterprises, Inc. he was President and CEO of a company in Richardson, Texas in the business of industrial automation, hydraulic and pneumatic component sales, to include a complete automated machining facility.
Louis is a decorated combat veteran, having served two tours of duty in Vietnam with the 101st Airborne Division. His service awards include the Purple Heart for wounds received in hostile action, two (2) Bronze Star, Army Commendation Medal, Combat Infantryman's Badge and a Special Citation from the Commanding General, 101st Airborne Corps.
